The Truth: Mean? Right? wrong?

- If your opinion of someone is not good, but you're giving an honest opinion about that person, is that mean?

- Is saying "no" to someone, mean?

- If someone wants to borrow something from you and you honestly don't want them to use it, are you wrong for telling them no? Are you wrong for letting them use it when you really didn't want to?

- Is it right to smile in a persons face when you really don't like them?

- Is it wrong to hold in your true feelings about something/someone to prevent hurting their feelings?

- Is it ok to make excuses for a lack of effort?

- If an ugly person walks up to you trying to get your phone number, is it mean to give them your number just because you don't want to be mean? Is it wrong to tell them, "I don't want to give you my number because you're not attractive to me."?

- Is it ever right to NOT tell the truth?

- What's more important to you, being honest and respected or being dishonest and liked? (If someone "respects" you, but you're not telling them the truth then that "respect" is not honest.)
