"OM"

Let me try to explain WHAT exactly (or approximately) is this divine word ‘Om’.

We all know God is One. (Let Him be God or Lord the Omniscient, Omnipresent or Omnipotent, or Brahma, the Almighty, Allah, or Jehovah or Zoroaster)

But if I ask a Hindu … What (or Who) is God, he might say .. Brahma (or Brahman) in his ancient ‘Sanskrit Language’

If I ask a Muslim … What (or Who) is God, he might reply … Allah , in his ancient ‘Arabic language’

If I ask a Christian What (or Who) is God, he will reply Jehovah (or Yaweh) .. in Ancient ‘Hebrew language’

So God is having different names in different languages so as in different religions which originated in that particular land.

The ancient Rishis and sages of India found out a Universal Name to express the Unexplainable. ‘That’ which is the Omniscient, the Omnipotent and the Omnipresent. ‘That’ which is the Cause of this universe, which is the Creator (or the Manifestation). God.

That name should contain all the names in it. All the names and words of all the languages in this universe.

All these words or names must come out of the human mouth only - to be expressed.
Hence they took the lowest point of throat where the sound starts in the mouth as the base or starting point – when the throat is opened fully – which denotes ‘O’ …. and that point of the mouth or lips where all the sounds End – which denoted by ‘M’. Then came the word ‘Om’. All the names and sounds of the world ARE in it (in all the languages). This is verily the Universal Name for GOD, or Brahman or Allah or Jehovah…

Famous philosophers of India who propounded Advaita says the below ideas.. :

The whole of this universe has both name and form (Nama-Rupa) as its conditions of manifestation, according to Indian philosophy. Form is the outer crust of which the Name or the idea is the inner essence or kernel.

God is manifested himself as Name and Form or the universe. God has one word as its only possible symbol or name, and this is the Om. And as by no possible means of analysis can we separate the word from the idea, this Om and the Eternal Being are inseparable. And the name for that Eternal Being or God is this Om, and the Om only. And this ‘Om’ (O U M) when pronounced clearly and perfectly, may well be the generalized symbol of all possible sounds are produced in the space within the mouth beginning with the root of the tongue and ending in the lips. The throat sound is ‘O’ when its fully open at the base and the M is the last lip sound, and the U exactly represents the rolling forward of the impulse which begins at the root of the tongue till it ends in the lips. If properly pronounced, this Om will represent the whole phenomenon of sound- production, and no other word can do this; and this, therefore is the fittest symbol or word for the name for God. This is real meaning of the Om. And as the symbol can never be separated from the thing specified, the Om and the God are one and is indeed the first manifestation of divine wisdom. This Om is truly symbolic of God.
These word-symbols evolved out of the deepest spiritual perception of sages which symbolize and express as nearly as possible. And as the Om represents the Omniscient, the other names represent the differentiated views of the same Being, and they all are helpful to divine meditation and the acquisition of true knowledge.

If only (or all) the Hindus are united … nothing will happen…
If only (or all) the Christians are united …. No use…
If only (or all) the muslims are united …. Doesn’t make any difference …

Let us (all the religions of the world) try to be United… let us make the Universal Religion …

Then only there will be PEACE …
